The FMF headers may fit. Mine is a Pro Circuit.

I see that FMF has a few slip on mufflers available too. I'll probably go this route now.

The part number I provided is the complete FMF with mefabomb header system. It's for the 450 but as mentioned another member just did the install and it went in with a second set of hands for simply bolt alignment. Only problem is that you better be prepared to pay if you want to play. They hit you pretty hard. Basically below the belt in my books. I'm going to shell it out but I haven't heard many tell me they were happy with the return on investment. I guess I comparing this spend to say rims or even a steering Stabilizer etc

A lot of what you're paying for is weight reduction. That's not going to make the dyno dweebs feel very good, but the people that actually ride will notice right away.

For example, the Ti LeoVince system on my 610 "only" unlocks 8 horsepower, but it's ~17 pounds lighter than the stock system.

    Guys,

Has anyone ever heard of anyone having a good experience or had any first had knowledge with BDS or https://www.ktmandhusky.com/ (Same guy) A lot of people have indicated it's mostly snake oil or common parts that one can do on their own. He specializes with Fuel Rails and delete kits and a bunch of things. I personally did some research and wasn't able to find anything positive. A lot of guys are looking at his website and youtube videos and thinking he's the resident expert. I reached out to him an wasn't able to get a hold of him but had some correspondence via email that was fairly uninformative.

This is the same guy that does the "Mr. know it all" colum in dirtbike magazine. I just ordered a 90 degree fuel elbow from him for my 450 since the stock one won't work with the IMS tank. His end caps seem like they would work, but why pay $200 for the end cap instead of $350 for a slip on from FMF? I'd rather have the lighter FMF. His de-smog kits are good too.

I think I'd stay away from the clutch weights he sells. I favor adding flywheel weight instead.

    Those videos are annoying too.

His stuff is snake oil for the most part, plus looks to be quite cobby in the qual dept. IMHO

    many better options elsewhere

I talked to him several years back on his Magic Mod. He became very defensive and unprofessional when I asked questions about what he did vs. basic adjusting the TPS. In the end I came away with this guy has more BS sales gimmick then smarts. He sells open heart surgery for heart burn. Buyer beware!

That was also my findings. I surprised so many people support him. He's arrogant rude and a little unstable. Just my opinion. His fuel rail is getting a lot of forum talking as is his TPS adjuster. What are you guys using to adjust accurately? The TPS.

Messing with the TPS on these bikes isn't necessary unless they are somehow grossly off. Not sure if this applies to the 17 motor, but on the previous generation it could cause serious issues.

    Good advice and thanks.

    Gearing Advice: ?

What gear are you guys using for woods, trail climbing. I like climbing in 2nd gear and single track. I thought I'd try 14/48. Any recommendations??

13/50. 14 48 would be good for dualsport open stuff but would suck in tight single track. I run 13 49 most of the time. Still hits 90mph easy.

No but the gearbox hasn't changed so I'd think it's comparable. Final gearing should be the same. 13 49 cruises nice at 55 mph easy and lays down power to the moon. I've hit 105 mph with this gearing and she had more to give but I chickened out.
