That would do it for sure, same basic setup. I would personally probably avoid that particular unit because of the light being mounted on those spacers, but it would definitely do the trick. Just looks like the light could shake itself loose possibly.

The OE underfender and light was about $75 bucks from RM if I remember correctly,

sicass flush mount signals are another $40ish https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/...rn-Signals?term=ktm flush mount signal lights

and $12 or so for a license plate holder with a cool husky logo. looks like this: IMG_2809.jpg

thanks, the underfender, tail light and plate holder are all OE, so excellent fit/finish/hardware. only the turn signals were aftermarket and required minor work with a drill bit to mount.

that pic is a 15 model 501s I had last year...kinda wish I still had it for DS and trail riding!
Congrats to all you dudes waiting for the 17s to hit the ground! sounds like they're close!

Scott Steering Dampners Stabilizer. I'm thinking of doing this mod to my 501. Does anybody have any experience with Scott's? Is not a cheap upgrade buy I've heard good things.

Does Anyone know if our 501 has running lights for the front signals? Also are the front signals LED or bulbs? Boring question I know but can't find it anywhere and was hoping some owner could have a look and please let me know? Thanks

I'm only 99% sure, not 100%, but I'm saying negative on the turn signals as running lights and incandescent bulbs not LEDs
And Scotts are great if you need a damper....in my experience these bikes are quite stable at even high speeds off-road, as long as your sag value is good.

Anyone tried these integrated signals with handguards? I love the idea of minimizing away the signals and the look of these. I'm wondering if anyone has installed these and if you notice the flash rate speed up going from bulbs to LED?

Also I thought that if I'm doing this mod I'd try and turn the integrated signals into running lights for increased visibility. Stock FE's do not have running lights and the lights only alluminate when flashing. Wondering if anyone else tried tackling this one.

I've been running those on my SM610 for seven years (Zeta protectors on Cycra guards), just this last summer did I need to replace one of the LED's (one of the wires finally vibrated loose from the light fixture itself). Good stuff and *highly* visible and clear by all that I've asked.

this thread is strangely quiet. I thought there'd be some actual pix of 17s by now,

    with dirt on them!

FYI - Headers that are made for the FC450 will not fit the FE450. There is interference at the kickstart castings.

I have a brand new PC Ti 6 full system for sale now. Fits 16-17 SX 450 and FC 450.

Stopped by my local dealer yesterday. They had just un-crated their first 501. The bars were just barely on it. First impression, Looks good, but the tires look scary for anything other than a fire road with no leaning in the turns. The exhaust outlet is smaller than an XR100 and I hope the screen on the end isn't their version of a spark arrestor. Curious to hear how they run after being submitted to CARB abuse.

Just added tank and stabilizer yesterday. Haven't had a chance to ride it though. It's way to wet and cold out here.

When you say headers that are made for the FC450 will not fit the FE450 do you also mean the FE501??? I've been corresponding with the member at Thumpertalk.. beardedwunder and he just completed the FMF full exhaust system (megabomb header instalations and he said it fit. Caveat. Requires two hands to slide the bolts in but other than that no problems. Part Number 045588.

Also, you mentioned your selling PC Ti 5 full system. Assuming this is FMF?
