Ok, time to set these photos free from their prison home in my computer!! BTW, I downloaded JonXX's photos...and maybe someone else's?...and I can't remember which ones are which, and I can't remember which ones I posted already. Sorry if you have to look at them twice
Jon and I had a great ride together, and returned to camp to a rip-roarin' fire....
Excuvator is up to no good, I'm sure...
JonXX, who would become my partner-in-crime the next day, and Bryon... (nice blue jacket, Jon!)
Frozen burgers? No problem...
Not much of a fire, I know. We didn't have much wood to burn but we did the best we could and soldiered on bravely through the night.
Thanks, Moomba, Stacey and crew!
We all bailed on the fire about midnight after a super-fun evening of telling lies and drinking, and it was only after I walked away from the fire that I realized we'd been carousing beneath a stunningly clear sky filled with scadzillions of stars! That's a lot of stars, folks.
I guess those clear skies contributed to the rather frosty morn...
I thought of my Husky brothers sleeping in their enclosed trailers and such and, true to my kind and compassionate nature, thought to myself "Better them than me!"
Yeah, it was cold, but Bryon took good care of us...
The bikes were prepped and waiting for us...
These two look like they're planning a 30-mile 4-hour ride through deep snow, don't they?
I spent an hour talking to these fine gentlemen and I can't for the life of me remember their names!

I remember the stories about mom racing enduros, though!
One of the Max's, a very nice gentleman of 14...and of impeccable taste! He was on a CR150...
More later. Sorry it's taking so long! I've been cooking Thanksgivingey stuff and trying to get my act together so I can go out to the desert for a week over Thanksgiving. Wish me luck, because so far it ain't happenin'
