• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

We returned to camp a tad late and some of us feasted on super gor-may sandwiches out of Joshua's extremely well-stocked cooler.
I actually had to make my own sandwich, though (tsk...I know...can you believe it? :rolleyes: ) because Russ refused to be my little "sandwich maker."

I was hoping by now that you had lost or forgotten about some of these ! And I thought you were a nice girl!
That was a fun weekend and most of those are great photo's. Hope to see you all next year.

Hah! Fat chance of me forgetting about these photos! :lol:

And I am a nice girl, for the most part...you just gave me opportunities to be bad :D

Maybe we can hold the next one in CA so we can get our So-Cal brethren in on the fun :)

Wow, you made it through the entire weekend without breaking something (on yourself, that is)? I guess that justifies you coming that far north and not even letting us know...I'll try to shield the rest of the family from this hurtful negligence. We haven't even established a clear cause-and-effect relationship between us riding together and you getting hurt...it could just be an incredible coincidence. It helps a little that you ditched Eric too.
Sounds and looks fun, and you can't beat a perfect coat of snow like that. I guess I need to lurk more so we can crash the party again next year.

You do seem to have an uncanny knack for witnessing my particular brand of carnage :thinking:

Yeah, not only did I not know til the last minute if I'd be going or not (seriously ill less than a week before departure, Eric not being able to go) but I knew you had a little something going on and probably wouldn't be able to make it anyway. Something about, oh...I don't know...a race in Baja or something? I knew if I invited you to Oregon you'd totally choose to ride with me instead of helping Team KTM take 2nd overall down in Baja and I just couldn't do that to the orange team, ya know? Always thinking of others...that's me! :)
