I have never personally tried a 300 2-stroke, but my opinion of the statement above is that Letti is the one making the husky look good, not the other way around. He would be fast on any 300 2-stroke regardless of brand. OR any bike for that matter.

18 years of leftover nuts, bolts, OEM bits, hoses , hose clamps , jets, gaskets, chain links , chains, stupid bike crap I have been hoarding for years is gone ! What a relief this bike has brought to my life !

That is true in a sense...Evil Knievel was jumping overweight pieces of s*** back in the day.
But, you have not ridden a 300 2 stroke. I too, believe Letti would be doing the same on a KTM. I am simply stating the fact that we are on a Husky enthusiast site and the WR is a viable option in the enduro world when you dont have as much to spend or if you like something different. I am an oddball at races with my Husky. It is a sea of orange around me. This is my first real race season at a ripe old 39 years old. I have been riding dirtbikes since 2005 and you can take about two years out of that equation for Iraq and other things such as two new children in 2009. I am currently 8th in my class this year out of about 35 riders in B Vet class. There are plenty of KTMs behind me.
And BTW, my B Vet class leader is riding a Husky. :)
Bottom line, I love the WR and for the money, I am sooo happy. I have owned KTMs, Hondas, Suzukis, Yamahas, several other Huskys, and even an offroad BMW so Im not coming out of left field here haha.

I really wanted to stick with husky truthfully. If they had the bike I wanted I would have.

Right on ! They are selling them so cheap brand new it's best to buy used with aftermarket stuff already on them.

It is nice that it will work with the new bike, could be handy. Be sure you get a reasonable offer if you sell it.

This seems to much better fit General than 4-stroke, which is intended for Husqvarna 4-strokes. When that thing turns whatever color the Husqvarnabergs will be then maybe we will move it back. Have fun on your new toy Rearwheelin.

That would be my call, though I've no idea if this thread has been moved. I make it a point to publicly state thread movements, title changes, etc.

The idea is that "Husqvarna Motorcycle Discussions -> 4st, 2st, etc" would contain information about the bikes themselves that would be of interest for years to come regarding the Husqvarna Bikes, and General (Main) would be for things that are not really about the bikes themselves or probably would not be of interest years from now.

"It has only been fired during dealer prep. It will probably just sit in the garage like the rest of my bikes did lol"

Sounds like me-after 30 years of marriage my wife finally let me get a dual-sport (TE310) but I've only managed to ride it 3 times in 4 months:cry:. Why is it that life always has a habit of getting in the way of really " living it"!?

you are in control, change your situation if it is not working for you. I have three kids and ride a ton. I am also a very involved parent. It can be done.

On the other board where I am a moderator it is obvious when a thread has been moved....'not so much' here it turns out. Next time I will PM too, so the OP is in the loop.

2 stroke KTM topic in the 4 stroke Husqvarna section  really ?

Just say something in the thread you are moving, then everyone will know, and you would not need to send messages.

The software we are using is quite simple compared to software other sites use, which is good and bad - and as you say, there is no record when a thread is moved.
