• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My Postie CT110 racer

'spensive wheels! I like 'em.

My potential woes continue, noticed a few sprocket bolts were loose, hopefully I caught then before the hub is rooted.

Haha Silicone ebay specials mate :) They fit perfectly couldn't tell you the brand though.

Was it only a few loose ones Caiman? If the others were tight you should be good bud. Loctite?
I Loctitededed the bejesus out of all my wheel n brake related bolts :)

Blue loctite and the lock nuts, only a few were loose, going to take it for a test ride after work and see if they loosen again after liberal application of loctite yesterday.

I have a feeling they are DRC hoses.

Shit Blue locitite never comes undone! Get two spanners on them nuts! Worse part is the stupid Allen heads are dodge. Use Allen Key sockets aswell. Cant get good torque with keys.

Great way to spend a monday... at the track! Suspension was near perfect, beringer stoppers outstanding, went from constantly wondering what the front end was doing to not even thinking about the bike and just having fun. Ohlins front end was probably the best money I've spent on this bike.

Gimoto suit. Nice! Custom ordered? Good to see you're stoked with the new suspension n brakes! how good is it over stock!?

I'm 6'5" and weigh 90kg, so custom all the way, have a Gimoto Jacket for street duties as well.

Night and day between The stock marzocchi's (even revalved) and the Ohlins, it's a whole new and 10000x better bike for it.

What sort of milage are you getting from the Maxxis? Are you running the standard rear wheels 4.25"? Im running a rear Michelen Pilot power and its been excellent for nearly a year (Prob about 2000 miles) but its squaring off and scratched to shit as its used off road too. They have stopped making them now so will have to get something else.

I raced a whole season on mine, most of the wear was on the chicken strips, middle was like new when I took them off and sold them.
Really good tyres.
