That's a loaded question and you are going to get tons of opinions on. I did however try the full titanium Akropovic system with the bomb header that sicks up and it was no where near as powerful as my fmf rct w/megabomb. But it had the system muffler on it and not the one that Caiman and Londin use which I'm sure makes all the difference. Akro was prettier. I suggest a bomb type header and a very free flowing silencer.

The only answer you'll get is subjective. Unfortunately no one has the coin to buy all the systems and try them out back to back.

IMO, get whatever's easiest to source for a decent price.

With a full exhaust and '12 TC airbox, nothing beats a PCV + dyno tune if you can spare the cash. 45T is good for tight/twisty roads or tracks, but heaps of buzz on the highways.

Just the lid. The screen is hot glued in and may come loose like mine did. I epoxied it back in place.

Or just ditch the whole airbox.

I went up two teeth on the rear sprocket and it works great. I found the OEM gearing to be a bit high for tight and twisty slow stuff. I think you could go up three on the rear sprocket without having to lengthen the chain.

I have a NIB JD tuner to sell.

I went with the FMF because it was the best price. It also allowed me to keep the OEM header so I could retain the O2 sensor and the nice carbon header guard I went to so much trouble to get. With the EFI tuner, the FMF completely transformed the motor. It is now a firebreathing beast which has no trouble lofting third gear power wheelies. It has a huge fun factor for the money.

IMO the FMF is pretty sexy looking for an inexpensive pipe.

It definitely improves power. My only reference is the stock exhaust though. I got the full system shipped to sydney for about 700. Will be more now due to the exchange rate but still cheaper than the Akra.
