I can sell them and will do so at a good price as I need feedback and thoughts on it. For clarification the idea behind this rod is if you have the rod working well but need to run to much PJ and that messes up your rod setting this will allow you to maintain that nice lean bottom but adds more on top without using the PJs much.

I am also working on different PJ' tubes so it does not reach down into the mid so far and keeps it's adjustment just for top end.

That would be great to be able to go in on the power jet mine is almost at 3 turns and I'm concerned about my fuel mileage in two weeks a do a two day 200+ mile ride.

your condition is exactly what I designed this rod for. When I ran that much PJ it muddied up the mid some so this takes the load off to much PJ and puts that control back on the rod. Then you can run your PJ back to like 1 turn out. Cleans up the entire range.

Sounds good to me. Like you say metering as much as possible with the rod will result in finer atomization and cleaner running.
Edit, oops, I see you were saying the same thing at almost the same time.

I'm a proud father :D ... Let the testing begin. I only have 2 of them so will keep them here to test. Will test this weekend and if good will race the ISDE this next weekend with it. Also in bag behind the rods are PJ tubes which are shorter and will make the PJ affect later in the throttle. Will report back soon.

I have not even tried them I don't want to send stuff out that I have no idea how it works. Testing and then sharing. Not trying hord them but does not make sense for me to hand stuff out that is completely untested ether. give me a week or so and let me test them. Then I can confirm the idea works and also understand how to set them up better.

Just curious on the identification marking on the end of the rod... it may be better to mark further up the rod near the threaded end. I would think the flat-sided lower end wicks the fuel up the rod. Any "irregularities" on this flat face could alter the wicking-ability up the surface.

Soon my friend. Need test and make sure these new rods are what I asked for and work like my custom one does. Don't want to send stuff out making assumption this works or adds something if it does not. It should, now just need to verify it does.

    Thanks

Got a 60 mile hammer down ride with some really fast guys yesterday. Was supposed to be a carb tuning / bike tuning short day thayt turned into a mob fest with us all terring it up for 60 miles. Got home 3 hours later than planned, was having to much fun.

My MS-3 Rod and shorter PJ tube (PJ effects later in the throttle now) was PERFECT for me. Bike starts EZer, idles perfect, super smooth glitch free power bottom to top. LOVE it. Never felt the need to even look down at the carb. I am pretty stoked. Will get a pile of these made and see if others think the same thing. Very happy with the setup. Want to get some people out there using this setup to verify my work on other bikes and then will be doing a Motosportz spec'ed carb with several changes.

A quick question Kelly -- Is the shorter tube the same length as the old type Lectron item or even shorter ? Thanks in advance.

I don't really know anything about the older carbs. I believe stock is .800 and short is like .400, a lot shorter. Will get real measurements soon. You can take them out and cut them down if you wish.
