No offense taken. And notice that I didn't reply in Italian. Now that would be something to make you smile!

If the thickness of the can is enough to support the bracket. It would be possible to cut the stock front bracket off and rivet it to the GPR can.

True that! Maybe someone can measure the GPR outer can thickness.

    Hi all,

I just bought a 2nd hand Strada which came with the single GPR exhaust system. Unfortunately it is too noisy, waking up my neighbors... According their website it comes with a db restrictor and removable baffle. This must be missing on mine. Does anybody have a pic of the parts by any chance? Not sure where the baffle would sit?

The db restrictor and baffle are the same thing based on my limited knowledge. If it's too noisy then it's definitely without the baffle since with the baffle installed, it is only slightly louder. I would try contacting the seller or gpr to see if you can get it from there.

The baffles are secured with a snap ring.

I run the pipes without the baffle and at first they seemed obnoxiously loud (especially the pops when engine breaking.) After some time either they broken in and became quieter or I went slightly deafer :)

After 12,000 klms, last week the DB Killer baffle fell apart inside the can then the pipe, made some "interesting" rattles
It's in 2 pieces, an alloy piece that clips to the can, then an inner domed piece that is only lightly "dimpled" to the alloy piece
Looks like the pressure variations within the exhaust system, loosened the 2 pieces
Now fitted together with a stainless pop-rivet
The "competition" baffle is very loud

Just got my Terra friday last week, Just looking for possibilities... Single end can looks nice. Seems that it needs a whole new system... Just curious I was watching the you tube video via gpr uk and it seems the header was also replaced.. Any one knows why? seems that it was video and no technical data vs pipe header diameter so i can't really say due to the inside diameter.. Is there someone who can give a definitive dimension of the gpr single exhaust ( more concerned about the headers as I could just cut the original 1 to 2 header to me it a single one if the diameter is the same) vs stock hardware?

I have the complete GPR single can, the header pipe is much lighter than OEM, also the O2 sensor screws into a different plug, as the pipe is freer flowing
To my mind it's not worth the hassle a modifying the original, making it a "mongrel"
Why not fit the complete GPR system, I'm more than satisfied with the results

Have you fitted a powercommander or simmilar, and how does it run?

    No power commander

Have Pod filter, AF-XIED, Brisk plugs - still experimenting

    Thanks!

Would you mind to give me the diameter of the header pipe? is it consistent from block to end can? if not can you measure the diameter for the sections? just want to compare the stock. I would like to know what is the difference.

I am no where near GPR retailers so trying to weigh my options ( brands / full / slip ons )...

Would you happen to know if all gpr exhausts come with two different baffles? I've purchased 2 furore slip ons and there was only one baffle for each which was just barely louder than the stock, which pushed me to running with no baffles.

The GPR single can with no baffles is like cannon file & triggers all the car alarms as you ride past

Hey Chuffa, what size/diameter T-Bolt clamp did you use?
Also, where did you find the steel bracket?
