    No big deal,

It says the factory unit can be programmed the first time it is powered on between EN and SM or something of the sort. SO supermoto and Enduro wheelsets. There is a factory dash for sale on ebay for 170 I am thinking of picking it up but it is a gamble wether or not it has been plugged in before....

Another less useful option is the DRD speedometer thingy that manipulates the pulses....

Thanks Tinken for the quick reply and good info! I see a post already verifying what you were warning me of on changing the action of the suspension. I'm only 6' tall, and had Zipty rework & lower both my 511 suspensions by 1" last Fall.
Now I am able to get on & off much easier, and still very happy with the remaining suspension travel, action, & over all handling. Having already lowered the bike a bit, I probably couldn't get away with extending my peg mounts further downward. But a peg that offers a bit lower positioning would certainly be a big help. I will check into what Motosportz has to offer.

I went to the motosportz site and could find no mention of any foot pegs. How bout it Motosportz Kelly? Do you offer any dropped down foot pegs for a Husky 511?

That's his old business partner. They split because Kelly wanted to focus on the hard parts you find on www.motosportz.com. motosportz is Kelly's screenname here and he has a sponsors forum

Back on the beast now that the weather is turning for the better. First thing I notice everytime I toss a leg over this machine is WOW that ZipTy suspension is good. Buddy Travis with a KTM 350 drools all over my 511 after the last time he rode it. His stuff is going to ZipTy soon too.

More goodies happening and more 511 fun coming up. Such a fun machine.

Axle pull for removing the axle without tools, after the nuts are undone anyway.

About time! Thought that thing was gonna get cob webs soon. How do you like the TC header hook up versus the TE?

Ha ha, did you fall off your chair in disbelief? I really like how the pipe fits and the quality so far. It has been massaged (heat and hammer) so not sure whats up but fit my bike like a glove. I had the springs for the header in my save pile from 2 strokes, cool. As a race pipe it seems very nice. EZ to remove when needed, tucks in well, probably makes great power. The mid pipe is 3mm bigger dia. The muffler is 3.5 inches shorter. The mid pipe is longer. I just took it for a quick rip around the block. Does seem spunkier. Getting a lot of popping on decel that was never there. Will JD it out. Started fine, runs good, idles nice, responds well, no feeling of stalling or any signs of bad running so far. Might get to ride her saturday.

Its louder for sure but not as notty as I thought it might be. It is now what would be called a loud bike unfortunately. Tinken is hard at work at the lathe right now fixing this issue I'm sure.

    Haha Yea!
Popping on decel is a lean condition, you are breathing a lot more air through your engine now.
