• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

post your last purchase for your 630

I did something in a past life to have HORRIBLE luck with crap like this so if it can get buggered, it will - Hence why I get my mates involved to help otherwise I might never get things to work - They should be here by this weekend and hope to get them in then

Don't sweat it. Even if it gets buggered up you can always patch cover it for temporary use while a new cover is on order so no downtime. New cover only is only $43 so won't break the bank either.

Not very exciting I know.

Installed Bullet-Proof Designs radiator guards. They bolted right up.

I used the radiator guard instead of the metal washer on the top bolt to the frame, and had to reuse the shorter stock bolt, instead of the longer one that BPD includes.

Other than that, it was a smooth install.

Ordered me a set of these yesterday. Picked up a set of the fork bleeders from them while I was at it. Excellent customer service.

Be sure to shim the rear part of the front fender forward with washers on the two rear mounting bolts on the fender to keep the fender from rubbing on the BPD radiator guards.

Shifter seal under warranty, so not really a "purchase."

On a side note, I found out that my SMS with stock gearing will do at least 108 mph, but I was running out of room...

Nice. I hit 94 on my TE with a 14 tooth cs sprocket before I got out of the throttle from being 'escared. That front wheel gets twitchy at that speed...

It's not much, but I like this decal more than the one the bike was delivered with.

I like that...been wanting to do the same. Do you have a part number? Curious, because the one I want is the same, but w/out the black and the silver is red. Thanks!

Ordered a Seat Concepts all carbon cover/foam the other day. Now I just need to find a good local upholstery/seat shop...

I also bought some of those metal valve stem caps with the valve core removers built in.
