As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Is light output any good? I'm running a Trail Tech X2 that needs upgrading as I'm over not being able to see at night. Did you buy in Oz?
Its not much better than an X2 mate...Thats what you get for running a stock stator.
The only fix is decent stator and light setup.
Betta bikes in Adelaide do the best I have seen for about $1000

I know guys with these light setups and they are incredible!

Bears are more scared of us then we are of them. I once phisically ran into one while mountain biking. It just spun around and for the hills. But yeah we have tons of them in northwest. Is there Bears there?
Looks like bear country to me and bloody mountain lion...
I tell ya, If I was ever in the vicinity of a bear or mountain lion, I would be eaten for sure.
Do you carry a gun like a 44 magnum or something to shoot all the bears that attack?
Im scared of bears!

Only seen one, and that was about 175 miles south of this location, but similar terrain. We got stuck at the bottom of a hill climb at dusk, and couldnt get back to the truck, so we had to ride out to the freeway, and have my wife come get us. it was about 2am after the ordeal was over, and we were loaded up and driving back home. A bear ran out in front of us on the road. Just a little guy, but still neat to see. No I don't pack while riding, but a lot of guys do..
Hey where can I find replacement plastic? My lower radiator shroud is busted and I need to replace it. I've been searching all over the internet just can't find anything. Also looking for maybe some replacement graphics as mine is pretty chewed up. Anyone mind pointing me in the right azmith?
Hall's? That a dealer or a website?I ordered new lowers from Hall's. They were like $6 each (for my 09, YMMV)
