  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

i think the '11 and '12's came with them. i aint got the exact reason why but...there's a few. all i know it aint nec for the type of riding i do. braaap!

alot of euro 2t have the street gear thrown on them, when i was a kato driver my 250 had a t stat and had the rear brake pressure stop lite sw on it, maybe it started the assy line as a EU version and ended up in the US batch?
socal we dont need no stinkin t stats, the ztr (evans)coolant is a really good choice!! Just remember the KISS system for the 300 mods keep it simple stupid.

Put a yz-f fender on her, really ties in well with the rest of the bike.

I put a yz-f front fender on too and I think it match's my stock rear fender better than the original. The edging in the fenders match well.

PowerKord, they are, but were already on the bike. not sure who sells them. they're nice thick stickers though, larger than the white text alone.

bike came from Hall's.

Is that one of walts hgs pipes? How's it go?

Yes, it's the HGS pipe with FMF power core silencer. For the mx track, I'm quite a bit faster on my 2000 RM 134. Much more comfortable and pulls way further. The 165 is like a tractor but seems to have nothing on top. The 165 should be great in the woods though. I'm more of an mx rider so the jury is still out on it.
