    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

are they both 92's had a 92 360 years ago, great bike

Yes both a 1992's - I have sold the 125, the 360 will be up for sale also, going threw it and servicing it-It still has the OEM plastic,New Cly and piston kit with about 12hr's on it and engine rebuild.

New member, figured I would share my chaos. Have all the bits for the 1972 CR 400 and 1983 XC 250. Still collecting for the 1973 WR 250 but very close to complete. I'm not so much a restoration person, more of a preservation sort.

hi crisofilax
your bike is not a 125 WR enduro for race:naughty:
is a trail bike 125 WRE !

Yes!, it's a 1999 WRE 125, for me it's enough for my riding pretensions, a bit of trailint, a bit of commuting, some obstacles...!! Yo got good eye you catched the model from the picture!!!

Hi guys, newbie to the forum here.
Does anyone know what year/model this bike is?
I bought it nearly 30 years ago and I remember the seller saying it had newer plastics.
I think its a 93 wr125 but not 100% sure.
I've just dug it out of the shed as I've not been on it for over 10 years!
Needs a few jobs doing so would be good to know the exact age etc so I can find the right parts.
Any info greatly appreciated.

it's either a 93 or 94
all the plastic except the tank shrouds looks like 93, 94 on the tank parts
but technically there really is no real difference I know of
they share pretty much all the same frame parts, not positive on the engine, but worst case is the piston and cylinder for porting reasons, same internals

This sounds right. I think it was only the tank shrouds that were changed.
It did originally have a speedometer on it, is that correct for a wr?

the speedometer and the headlight were part of a package that came with the bike and installed by the dealer
not all of them had the kit installed
