• 2 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Italy - About 1989 to 2014
    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

Hello all! Just got a 1992 WXE 250. Thought I'd introduce myself and the bike before I start posting questions.

Took the bike out for the first time last weekend and had a blast. Need to work out a few bugs but overall, she's a runner!

Chad.

Hi Johnny!
Nice looking bike! Where did you get that new nice looking plastic? I'm still looking for new side plastic covers. Also, nice to see how the 1999 model looks with a white rear fender. I noticed DC plastics sell both rear fender and side covers but not 100% original design because of some technical production restrictions.

Hello everyone. Just figured that as a new member I'd introduce myself and two of my bikes here. :)

I'm a 33yo car guy from west coast Sweden, with a big love for Italian Huskys. On the car side of things I mostly own/work with/like Japanese cars from the 80s & 90s, but Saab is a big part of my life as well. This love for japanese cars made me fanboy a lot for Honda motorcycles, but then I bought my first WR250 and I'm not going back.

I do some hobby level enduro riding in forests around where I live, so nothing too serious.

The first Husky I bought was a 2007 WR250, which looks like this:

It has some mods, which was mostly done by previous owner:

* Supermoto conversion, 120mm Pirelli Diabolo Rain front, and 160mm Pirelli Diabolo Rain rear.
* Big front brake
* Pro Circuit Works exhaust
* 360 (not sure if WR or CR) gearbox
* R-Tech Vface front light
* SMRR450 graphics (I think?)
* Plated & street legal :)

My other "nice bike" is a 1996 WR360, which I have mounted the 06 plastics in black with Blackbird graphics, fuel tank, subframe, airbox and and seat on. It also has a FMF Gnarly exhaust and my go-to-headlight, the Rtech Vface:

I would like some help with the front forks on the 360 though -- Which model year are they, and what model years will fit my frame?

Hey man!
Nice line up :) That 360 really caught my attention, it really looks great. Let me guess, license plate B** *65? If I'm right, then it's one of my old bikes :) I'm also on the west coast of Sweden. Just started up my 1999 WR360 after some years resting in the garage.

These would bolt right up would need 25mm wheel bearings and newer Italian Husky (28mm / 25mm) axle and spacer.

I'm using them on my 86 430ae with 93 360wr triples and modern hub and brake.

Heyo. My 1994 wxc 250. Bought the bike for $900 in 2005 and rode it for a couple years. Then gave it to my cousin for helping me move all my motorcycles when i moved out of state in 2007. I was visiting him this past fall and was asking him about it. He said he didn't use it anymore and it needed a new top end. So i fell in love with her again going thru everything and refreshing her. Runs better than ever now but its winter now and all the snowmobiles are having their turn on the trails here in maine. Registered it for road use as well as off-road use. Now i just have to wait till spring!IMG_20201214_121324277.jpg

Hah, nice! Yep, that's the one. When did you own it? I bought it off a guy in Kungälv earlier this year. Been fixing it up bit by bit, slowly getting it ready for some proper riding. Next up is suspension.

Thanks man, will look into this.

Factory exotica the Motorex Husqvarna CR125 Stephen Sword team bike minus the 50mm forks they are being serviced and overhauled at the moment and I haven’t fitted the NOS exhaust system yet.
I have owned this bike since 2002 I purchased it from the team when Stephen left, I did a complete nut and bolt restoration last year and put all The titanium and carbon parts back on

Hi all!!! Here is my new to me 2010 WR 125, in very good condition. Does anyone know if this original exhaust comes restricted? Bike runs fine, but I feel like my previous 2007 WR was pulling harder then this one...
