• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Did you get to ride the BMW? thoughts?

K
I didn't actually but people who did were pretty impressed. It does look pretty sharp but I dunno, I just get the impression that they went out of their way to do things differently, just because of who they are - a good example is the front sprocket.

I do wonder what the future for the bike is now they have Husky - I think it was probably too far along to be halted but the future ? Not sure about that....

My favorite bike of all time:

As she was stepping off the beach the late sunrays were bathing the princess in golden color…
Her tight little body was glistening all over …

Seriously, who is the genius that designed this bike, what’s his name?
It is so sexy, its borderline pornography!
I’ll need to send him a thank you note

Yeah, she is pretty sexy, isn't she? A little heavier and older than her sisters, of course, but she's got more soul...more intensity...and her legs are longer. She's not as high-maintenance as her sisters, either; who wants to mess with all that primping and preening, hand-holding and foreplay, when all you really want to do is have a good romp together? Yeah, she's in it for the long haul, a real keeper. She won't leave you in the lurch after having a bit of fun, spending all your money in the process.

Yeah, she's a pretty one, alright. Almost as sexy as her red-headed twin sister...

Yes sir, we need to band together and demand our rights from coffee…We can create a new movement
On second thought, nah… I think it was done before somewhere else
Mr. K in order to truly represent the husky thru the years I think you are missing one color :D
Should I ask my neighbor if he can lend you a piece?
Obviously you’ll need to rig it somehow…

Nice! Is that first photo the eastern side of the Sierra?

No, that's the east side of the Argus Mountain Range, Death Valley CA.

The second pic is Black Gulch in the Sierra Nevada Gateway area.

Yeah, the redhead does like to get dirty, I'll give her that. She spent the weekend getting all gussied up for more, too. Seems she's got an upcoming date in Nevada and wants to put her best foot forward. ProMotoBillet rack, Mountainsmith saddlebags and a new pair of knobbies :D She's getting a 5gal tank, too!

And as far as all the smooth talking, well...you started it, Mister!:p

Look at this sweetheart, waiting so patiently for me to finish work…
Such a good girl, I’ll give her some new oil…

Last weeks ride. Unfortunately I had a flat:banghead: Luckily we had a patch kit and 15 minutes later we were back on the trail.

In the first pic, is that you on the right? It almost looks like the stop/tail light is on top of the fender.
