• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You must not be paying attention, Mr. Waters. There have been a few photos posted here and there on various forums,
including right here in the Cafe.
I admit I have been busy with work and do neglect the other sites a bit..

What...you don't read every one of my posts? Dang...
...But I did made an effort to follow your post for the sole purpose of…
(hoping Eric will forgive me, cause I do say this with the utmost respect)…catching a glimpse at your knobbies -->:D
I feel now like I’m the last one to the party… I’ll try to find the ride reports and details …

Woodschick, that is hands down the gnarliest, toughest 610 i have ever seen. :notworthy:

Do you ever roll up to stop lights and harley riders duck their heads and look away so as not to incur your wrath?

Thanks, ColoMoto! I'm a bit fond of the bike, myself.

I've not had any experiences yet with Harley dudes on my Husky (hmm...maybe they really are afraid of me??) but I did get a very fine compliment from a grizzled old sportbike rider the other day on my way home from work. The bike is much dirtier and muddier now than in the previously posted photos...

It does kinda look like it could eat the world if it wanted to.

Sniff,sniff...I'm getting all choked up here, Rajo...
That is, by far, the best compliment I've ever gotten!

Thank you:thumbsup:

 You're hilarious, Muddy:D

Don't feel too bad, as I never posted up a ride report or anything other than a photo in unrelated threads. The first time I rode on the knobbies was last weekend when the above photo was taken. Maybe I'll put together some thoughts and photos and post up a thread about it.
I got the 5gal tank on there yesterday and I am truly frightened to ride it with it full...it's huge! I can probably make some extra cash off-loading fuel from the Chevron tankers in Richmond now.

So you're going to believe everything I say from now on...right??

The " Massasauga Enduro" took place in Welland Ontario Canada. One of the largest one day Enduro events in Canada and was the Canadian National Championship Enduro for a number of years.
Here’s my first entry back in 1979 with our local team.
Three Yammie, two Suzzie, me on a Can-am and Wally on his Husky.
An Oldie for sure.
To our other Canada members, did anyone else run the Massasauga?

Here is mine in Chute Lake near Kelowna, BC. I lost my licence plate up there:excuseme: I will try to find it this weekend

Went out to the Rio Grande river yesterday with a couple of friends. Mostly dirt roads and some smaller trails. Found this little dirt pit that someone had dug out with some cool jumps.
