• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Jon called me and said he got a couple of rides in today. One of the Cafe Husky members went for a 30+ mile ride with him splitting time on my '12 165. Would love to get the unvarnished evaluation from a complete stranger to the breed. Don't know his name but he could only be there today. Let us know what you thought.

Did Jon also tell you he and I are at an old Catholic school/church in Bend that is now a bar/restaurant/music venue/soaking pool/theater? We're taking in a Pirate folk band, The Rum and the Sea  Good times! That boy can put away the beer!!

3-4 inches of snow at camp 25. Nice turnout with more rolling in this afternoon. It's cool enough that we plan to start riding around noon on Sat. I'm back in town for the night at my brother's.

Good to see familiar faces and new.

Where's breakfast ? !

Riding in the snow... a whole lot of people had a great time. :)

At dinner last night I realized that some people may have missed this, which I just now moved from the Newsroom to a sticky in a new location.

It could well be that he has much input where to focus the direction on what bikes should be made in the future.

I will try to get him to say a few words today, and possibly offer a Q&A session.... but with all the people riding, not sure what the best time that would be.

Not many pics on my phone, hopefully some good ones on the Go-Pro, but those will have to wait until I get home.

Here is us loading up. Kelly told my youngest he would hide him away in the back with his bike, and when we got here, He could pop out and surprise me. He then replied "ya, but my mommy would be sad if I left her"

Thanks so much to Husqvarna NA, Bill F and all the others who made this happen. Also want to thank all the guys who let me ride their personal rides. I learned a whole lot about the different bikes and set ups.

Had A great time**************************************** All my crew and I back home safe and sound by 3 o'clock .EXcavator had 6 degrees this AM at 3:30.Will posting more when not using KINDLE.billf

THAT was a good time! It was great to meet a bunch of like-minded and like-branded people. Often when a large group of people gets together there are one or two people looking crosseyed across the campfire at each other, it was awesome to not see any of that.

Tami, Dave, Kevin, Russ, Josh and Jon - that was one heck of a FUN RIDE! Video is forthcoming, but I'm so slow and out of shape for the dirt that not many will be seen except at intersections haha.

Coffee's Moto-Mule. I didn't make the time to take it for a spin, I wanted to, it's very cleverly designed.
