• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Magnificent 7

Good pics, but that had to have hurt!

I've always wanted one because of the stylish craftsmanship that went into them.

Now having one in person and looking at everything. Kinda cool!

To me it was all the euro bikes that stood out.

I think Oldbikedude is lookin at Maico pics and wanting one!

Plan this weekend is to do up one of the Husky forks using the existing lettering and fox colors.

But I need a bigger oven so I'm looking for a larger smoker slash electric oven.

That's not really me in the video....

Yeah, well I don't think anyone was fooled by your obviously fake Sgt. Schultz accent, fake euro license plates on those fake euro vehicles, with those obviously fake giggling girls.... we know it was you.

you like big fins, huh? Sounds like the start of of a Sir-Mix-a-Lot rap [google it if you're over 50]

....Here is the fork?

I like what you're doing with the Maiqvarna... but that white on the fork is a little out of place.

Why did you not continue the Fox stripe all the way down- too hard to do around the cast-in letters?

Nice work as always.

No, I can go down through the cast letters. Prob, is you can't read the Husqvarna lettering very good, in tri color and even black lettering. Trying to capture, the fox fork colors.

Next weekend have nother concept to do on the other fork.

Not easy cause that's eight hours of work and baking finish on.

I like it too. However the silver fork and red lettering would look good on any bike... how'd you do that again?
