As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
All back together but silencer (leo vince) isn't fitting on modified Sx 200 pipe
FMF Fatty, 2004 KTM 200SX. Can't wait to try it at the Nat'l this weekend.Lucky dog! Which pipe did he mod?
Lindsay's a personal friend. Walt has sent the 200 pipe to P3, so they can do a pipe guard. E-Line/Moose has discontinued the 200SX Fatty one. Walt wants me to try the pipe after P3 is done with mold and guard, so they are shipping pipe and guard to me. I was just checking the status.Norman, What did you speak to Lindsay Pirie about ?
told ya' !!Man, do I feel left out...
I read the additions every day...sounds exciting and my inner two-stroke is calling.
What a difference a year makes! Keep up the movement, fun to watch and Hello to everyone.
We are still here, right now I'm relegated to prepping the '12 TXC250, which by the way is a freakin blast.
The boy took to it big time! Perfect jump from the 125.
Sorry about the mini-hijack, off-topic post...can't even imagine it will derail this train!
(More like a penny on the track...)

my leo vince figt my stock pipe but not the fmf fatty (husky 125 one)Hopefully can get mine running in next few days. All back together but silencer (leo vince) isn't fitting on modified Sx 200 pipe. Have no idea why that is beyond fit must be lots tighter than FMF silencer.
Let me know. I would like one for my bike too.Lindsay's a personal friend. Walt has sent the 200 pipe to P3, so they can do a pipe guard. E-Line/Moose has discontinued the 200SX Fatty one. Walt wants me to try the pipe after P3 is done with mold and guard, so they are shipping pipe and guard to me. I was just checking the status.
Didn't he play "GOOBER" on the Andy Griffith Show ?Who is Lindsay Pirie?![]()
Sounds fantastic!...Well OK, technically husky has nothing to do with this bike and technically it is only a 165 but if husky built a WR200 and it ran this good they would be back on the map big time. This bike freaking ROCKS...
How did you mod the pipe junction? I have to say that I go back and forth about the kickstarter... longer would be nice, but harder to get on at the top of the stroke.Having completed the mod needed to attach my Leo Vince to the SX 200 pipe Walt adapted for me will just say one word to describe the motor, AWESOME! The 165 is very impressive! The RB Design Carb mods made jetting a snap and the combination of the 165 kit, pipe, and carb most certainly work and work quite well. Only one complaint......the kickstarter!!
