Yes the plastic is from a 08 RR got it from Husqvarna the Graphics are from a
08 RR I got them from LR Designs In the UK they are Better than the Husky
ones which I had but they kept pealing off the LR Designs ones are awsome.
I called a local dealer, a while back, with part numbers for that 08RR plastic and was told it was no longer available.
I'll check out LR designs for some graphics. Thanks, again.
SM off dirt set up back on. Paddle tires on the way. Coos bay here we come
Before and after shots sm vs. dirt sure changes the look of bike
Installed the ZipTy airbox breather tank but now one of the rocker cover bolts is leaking, so waiting on a gasket kit to fix that, will get the dealer to change all the gaskets when it goes in for its 10,000km service next week.
Mulling over wheel bases at work today and with the new fork bottoms the wheelbase is minus 10-20mm down to 1440-1450mm (depending on gearing etc), if I could be bothered (which I can't!) to mess around with spring rates etc. I could look at putting on my spare shorterened swingarm and getting the wheelbase down to 1410mm with an effective triple clamp offset of 0mm. Would make things interesting!
Here's my recently converted 2011 te250
Yeah it's had a lot of shed time. I bought it with 45km on the clock.
Not bad for 2011 model
Next step remove the idle nub.
Oh, and find where this damn leak is coming from, all gaskets on the rocker cover replaced and it's still weeping.
I ran a little RTV blue on the rubber rocker grommets. Slight weep on one of the front ones after catch can install.
Yeah this appeared when I stuck the oil recirc kit on, you just ran a little around the grommets and the rocker cover or the grommets and the bolts?
Seems to be coming from the front left grommet.
Yep thats the one bud front left. Just a smear on both sides of the grommet. Just make sure shes completely oil free first.
Will see if I can get the bugger out to give it a bit of liquid gasket.
May have gone a little overboard with the liquid gasket...
Grinder + Drill = no more idle nub...
And awaiting drier weather and the weekend for a test ride... Track day booked in December, can't wait to wring it's guts out!
Then next step 16.5" Excel and OEM Hub, just waiting on OEM spokes and nipples to show up in the post!
Test ridden and no oil leaking anymore can't wait for my track day!
Welldone mate! Bikes looking great!
Pic before I sold it Need to get back in the bush, so a street legal wr250/300 is on the way.
