I can gladly report that a KTM TPS part# 77741077044 works as a direct replacement for a 2013 TE310R, with no modifications required.

Thanks for the feedback Sergio. Any issues or installation notes? (or pictures?) If you know the KTM bike model and cost, let future readers know.

As I mentioned it's a straight swap, picture below along with the KTM bike model details.
Also note that I have updated my first post to assist future readers so that they don't have to read all the correspondence!

Holy sh*t!!! I just realized you paid $402.80AUS for your TPS . ...well, take comfort in the knowledge that your investigation will help other people in the future.:oldman:

and I was going to say it looks like your fuel line Quick Disconnect is not fully connected; but after looking at mine, I'm not so sure now- might wanna give it a push just in case.

A lot of money for such a small part.

It's cheaper than spending AUD 1,200++ for a complete throttle body as OEM TPS's for this model don't come on their own!

Hey Sergio- did you ever happen to get the resistance range of the new or defective TPS? lmk

[note to future readers: KTM part# 77741077044 can be found for under $150 in the USA without too much trouble- 2017 prices. Still, that's ridiculously high for a glorified potentiometer.]

May 2018 edit: also, the resistance range of the stock TPS turned out to be 130 ohms to 5050 ohms (probably 5000ohms- meter error) unmounted on the TB. when mounted, the no-throttle/idle resistance was 730ohms, and full throttle 3920ohms. With an accurate current source (like DM reported) of 1mA this also would equal the the voltage reading in mVolts (or in volts: 0.730v and 3.920v). The throttle body I used was off a low-hour '14 TXC 250R.
