Due to riding/racing I have been holding off on doing this ZipTy recommended mod. I have noticed that my clutch is still jerky especially while cold (not hot). Also its been noisy and rattley(?) while unloaded.
Yesterday I finally pulled my clutch basket and found that there was quite abit of cushion bushing play from the backing plate/gear to the basket. Easily a 1/4 IN of loose free play, thats alot!! It's going up to the ZipTy shop today.
Ty mentioned that the standard temps of the X-Lite engine are unusually high and this contributes to the hardening of these bushings. His mod uses the same shape and fit of the OEM pieces but uses a more heat resistant material for them. He will drill out the rivets install new bushings and reinstall the backing plate after drilling and tapping the original rivet holes with locktited screws.

Also I forgot, my basket fingers do have some clutch plate notching in them. I asked ZipTy to assess this and let me know what they think. ( I have filed many baskets in the past)
