I had an interesting phone call this weekend. A gentleman called me this weekend asking if I still had my TXC310 for sale, when I told him no, he asked me if I knew much about the WR 300, to which I said a little bit.
Basically, he said it was way too much bike for him, 1st and 2nd were useless because there was too much power but he loved the top end for the desert roads he frequents. I tried to get a little more information from him so I could help him as much as I could. I told him to call up ZypTy racing to see if there was a flywheel weight he could add on to it to tame it or even if there was a spring in the exhaust power valve( they have power valves right).
This is a 2012, he didn't get the rebate when he bought it and can't sale it without taking too much of a hit.
You guys got any advice for him? I'm sure he'll be calling me back. . I'm sure if anybody was interested in trading there 310 for his 300, I'm sure he would be very interested.
