As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Well I finally figured out how to get a pic on here, I love my ride :-)

wondering where to get bike lifting straps like these
Or Moose for lifting straps, awesome pic..... I would love to know what mods Letti has done to his bike, & what MY. Doesn't look too far from stock.
You're telling me the Service Honda wasnt as good? Wow. Thats interesting. Thats always been a dream bike for me. I love my WR300 but I'd love to ride them back to back. That makes me feel great about the $6k something I spent on my WR as opposed to what the Service Hondas cost.Went for a ride this week with a bunch of new guys. It was slow going and I had to stop on lots of hills. My bike didn't care too much. I got to ride a brand new Service Honda 500 because the rider couldn't make the hill. Wow, there is no comparison between the bikes. Mine just blows it out of the water in so many ways!
Go ahead and tell me my bike is old and outdated, my Mikuni is crap and my Rekluse dulls my skills. Just try to find the time to say it while I'm passing you...
Sign of the new ownership ... maybe selling these bikes with these forks and maybe another gadget or two that the new owners sell will get this bike produced another year or two ..Arent they WP forks?
