  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Will this Leo Vince X3 system for a 250 work on my '14 310?

Yes It will work, all Leovince silencers for 250 2010 to 2013 and 310 2011 to 2013 fit perfectly on the original Header (at least you'll have to file the frame attachment bracket). For this price I will buy it immediately!!

I'm really looking for one because mine is restored but always half massacred, it is a pity that they don't ship to Italy  You will enjoy the Leo silencer, great sound (also without db killer it is still quiet, I run mine without) and a big gain in weight. I don't know what it does performancewise because I always used it with the leo mounted

There are no problem in fitment for silencers, headers for the readhead are different from 2011-2012 that are different from 250 2010.
As you see here Trenchcoat85 mounted on his 310 a Leo for a 2010-2012 http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/14-te310r-titanium-leo-vince-pipe.80681/

When I say red head I mean the red head on the 13-14 250/310 and the 2012 tc250. That Leovince exhaust in the ebay auction comes with a headpipe which probably wont fit a 2014 310.

You are right, in fact I've always talked about silencer and not header that won't certainly fit. I've suggested jmardy to buy the kit beacuse its very difficult (impossibile) to find a brand new Leo silencer for 170 $ and for what you have paid the kit you could not bother about the header and eventually resell it so your brand new X3 costed you even less than 170...at least for me it was a great deal already only for the silencer without considering the header

Hi guys.
It arrived today. It's the slip on only, no header, which is fine with me.
Bolted up very easilty. Feels like it's a little close to the frame so I put some heat shielding between the plastic frame protector and the pipe.
Super impressed with the build quality and performance! Noticeable improvement. My neutral throttle roll-on bogging is gone. The bike rips now.
Lofted second gear wheelie without trying.

Stock pipe was 95db idling, 6 inches away (to the left of) the outlet. The Leo with the quiet insert is 91.

Don't make fun of my tires. They're coming off before the next ride.

Doesn't the description in the auction state it comes with a header?
