  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st What did you do to your Husky today?

Does anybody know if 2015 te 300 hand guards fit a 2009 ? The ones that attach to the levers?
No. The 2015 bike has a hydraulic clutch and the handguards are designed to mount to the master cylinder. They won't mount to a cable clutch 2009 bike unfortunately.

Race Discs ****************************************! Sore subject for me as I even posted on this forum how I had exelent results with them years ago, Oh how times change.
The last two rears I bought were worse than crap !!! Lasted a ride each - pads went to the metal in one muddy ride on the first one and the disc was scored badly and the other one got bent in a small coming together.
Seem to be made out of normal stainless plate with no hardness at all.
Found discs at the same sort of low price called Artrax, Last better than the stock Husky items, Work well even in the normal UK filth and pads now last forever, Brilliant discs as stated for not a lot of money.

Yep same as stated above! Chewed multiple sets of pads(1set per ride in normal easy going conditions) & disc scored badly. Only the front however, rear is fine?! Gotta link for them artrax discs Johnny? Runnin an artrax front tyre ATM seems pretty good. Motomaster nitro discs look good for around $100au

Hey Cris, where did you order your white plastics from? I have been searching for a couple months now and I cannot find any that will ship to the US.

I did notice that dont have the same "ring" to them as the stock ones.
Thanx for the info guys, much appreciated- think maybe ill switch em out before one puts me over the bars or somethin

OK, got the graphics on-finally
Not crazy about the fact that the blues dont match very well, so i tried an alternate yellow seat cover
Guess it really dosent matter, when you twist the throttle thats the last thing on your mind! Gotta love it.
