  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st What did you do to your Husky today?

put a fresh plug in my 99 360
plan to ride in the AM

working on a re-valve of the forks on my 99 360 Zokes, got some good info from Picklito, need to order shims to remove the harshness of my compression dampening and smooth out the rebound

Installed a new 144 kit .
.3mm base gasket
New X ring chain and 51 rear 13 t front
New P3 guard -
fitted handguards from fellow café husky user
and hour meter installed

Rode it saturday and with RB designs modded TMX it runs real good
was holding off a new Sherco 300 till about 3rd gear
(That thing is too fast! )
Spooge issue at exhaust manifold fixed with sealant

Already scratched guard with knee braces - added some double sided tape to them to see if that helps

Since I live in a temperate rain forest and it's a wet spring so far, I brought the bike inside and swapped to .40 RaceTech fork springs. Had been down a few times lately  so aligned and re-torqued the front end. Installed a 5.10-18 IRC VE33 rear tire too and went back to the stock pipe after a few rides with the Gnarly. It felt like I lost too much on top with the Gnarly and QStealth, with the stocker it pulls stronger through the mid with a nice hit on top. Thinking the Gnarly and TC2 is worth trying at some point though.
Instead of forecasting the chance of rain they've started forecasting the chance of sunshine and there's a slight chance this morning so standing by for the chance to have a quick ride

Finished my CR150 today. She's a 2011 model that I've setup for woods racing. Barrel ported & polished, WR silencer & rejet, 8oz flywheel weight, Apico foot pegs, Polisport hand guards, custom graphics by www.scubdesignz.com, WR fuel tap to give me a reserve, 13/52 gearing, suspension sorted. Lugs well & really rips up top. Loving it!!! image.jpg image.jpg

Well done, great looking bike.

I went for a ride @ St. Joe ORV park. Perfect day, 72 degrees, park almost empty, trails were dry for the first time in months.

Loaded up and leaving for the park.

Map of the park.

Empty parking lot.

The park has a decent amount of varied terrain, this part of the park almost looks like SoCal high desert with long sand washes, whoop sections, rocks and yuccas.

Lots of single track through the trees.

Even some decent swimmin'/fishin' holes.

The AMA holds a National Enduro in the park, last year it was won by Charlie Mullins, this year it will be run on 5/17.

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures of the park. If any of you are ever in SE Missouri looking for a place to ride PM me, I know most of the park as I ride it regularly.

Pasted some reflective rim stickers and took the pipe down to see if the cat is removed (it is). The other restricting stopper is still in place can't remove it without cutting the pipe open..

sharp bike! i dont understand restricting a 125 but get that thing outta there!

over here in germany and i think in most parts of europe teenagers aged 16 are allowed to drive a 125cc with a maximum power of 15 HP.

Also its an emission thing, my WR 125 for example has 6 HP and a maximum speed of 60 km/H when new- thats just because they have to get trought the emissions to get a road registered.
