• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I love happy customers. Good Email to wake up to this morning...

"I just got my plate and installed it on my Terra. This thing is awesome! I can't wait to take it out on the trails and bash it into things (accidentally, of course)."

I love to looks of the red one. I want to buy one how much are the red ones going for ? I just bought a tr650 and the factory one does not hold a candle to yours. How much and how long to ship it to Worcester Ma. ?

We are building another batch of our TR650 skid plates and also the add on front protector part. Should be done in a week or so. Anyone wants on please email me and I'll get you on the list. Thanks.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on the plate with add on wings. Just got the Terra back after fender repair today and ready to bang it around in the dirt and rocks. Your skid plate looks like the perfect solution.

Hi There,

I sent an email to Motorsportz yesterday. Are the latest batch of skid plates available? I have a customer buying a Terra but wants a skid plate before going home with the bike. I don't know if you sell to dealers, but a direct purchase from the customer is fine too. I hope to hear back soon!
Thank you!,

Just got off the phone w/ Bill... I was ordering factory panniers and hard bags and he mentioned he had your skid plates... so I ordered it along with the bags... as would all come for same hurried shipment. Afterwords I popped on here and THEN saw the message (I never saw an alert in my email... hmmmmmmm) Anyways, I'll post pics of my bike with it when it gets here - leaving Monday for a trip from Carlsbad to Berkeley for a conference.... this shows from Temecula (close enough: https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=...mra=mi&mrsp=5&sz=12&via=1,3,4,6,7,8,9&t=m&z=9
