  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st The obligatory video thread.

A short video of a loop that I created yesterday. I have some acreage with planted pine and now that it's winter here in the south I can mostly get around all the briars and add new trails to my little trail system. The work mostly consists of cutting through low hanging branches and undergrowth here and there so it's not too bad really. I wish I had some riding buddies around here to help me come up with some great trails and do some riding!

Here is the video.

After much effort I feel I'm starting to get the bike dialed suspension wise. Mostly I'm working on learning how to ride a 125 quickly since it's my first one... -Good Times-

If I lived near you, I would definately help you out creating new trails and riding them of course!

This is a video of one of the local mountain roads here I like to climb every so often ... Starts off an uphill, goes across a saddle, climbs some, and then ends off going downward towards a big valley ... Across the valley you can see another spur that has Langosig School house on the downward end of it also that I ride from time-to-time ...

Front side was dry and later half was very wet and slippery ...

08 WR250 ... This was about my second or third ride on the 2t ... I'm really feeling good on this machine ...

first break under some oaks in a canyon....shoots to POI pretty well, target was swung by wind so..fast pairs were easy with it.

Here are some highlights from the LACC race last Sunday. It was held on the grounds of the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola! This was my third cross-country race ever and I managed a 3rd place in the C-lites class aboard my CR125. I'm improving!

Hell of a rider!! Love how you just keep going around falling/ struggling riders. Bike sounds spot on too. Good job!!!

Wow that track looks alot of fun! I wish there were more tracks like that here where I live.

Nice riding!
