  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Where in PA is that? I've ridden Hillsville, but I hear it may be off limits now. Looking for new places and peeps to ride with this summer.
 
It's actually at mines and meadows in beaver. They have a 8-10mile loop there,I was there with my boys all day and took a break to hit some tougher stuff. Hillsville has allways been closed.You have know someone and park there or the locals will break and steal your stuff.
 
I've been to Mines and Meadows once or twice, didn't recognize it in your vid. They are setting up fracking wells apparently at Hillsville. Somebody finally found a use for the place...

now that was cool. and how come the camera is 10 feet off the ground? :p bike sounds killer JG. love the lofts...braoop. no drama. tank of gas has to last all day like that. first log was kinda sketch with that pool cue to the left of your ribs! :eek: man, im really thinking about the rekluse now talk about tip-toeing through the tulips that one handed log crossing was wicked. that was a great video thanks man.

Man, those announcers were clueless. Calling Knighter a rookie?? There were so many near crashes in their minds, when most were just little slip ups that you'd encounter constantly. Webb just pinned it at the end there, and there was no traction! 118 Graffunder is a Canadian! I think he rides a 310.
