• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

te610/630 Clucth Cush Washers group buy info

Australian Santa finally got off his surf board and delivered my clutch washers. Too late for under the tree but early enough for New Years! Thanks again Stu!

Thank you Stu, I was so happy to get mine! I was afraid that USPS lost them, but it just took them a bit longer...

Dumb question, I was late to this party but luckily I found the post on ADV and got a set of washers coming from Stu.....how tough is this job to do? Anyone have a link to a video or picture thread? Thank you Stu, glad you had a couple of last sets around. :)

Hey mate , info here from post 23 on this thread ..
Hi all

I have dropboxed the te610/630 manual & parts catalogue which may be helpful for some when doing the work required to install the new washers
..

I have heard of a few people breaking the oil pump "lugs" when not aligning the case properly when putting it back..
I have also heard of someone missing a washer or putting it in the wrong place and then having a engine fail..

So it might be helpful to have the manuals handy

Hi, Stujan. Is there any set left available?
Thank you

Hey Stujam I have just acquired a TE630 and was wondering if there are any washers left over please.
Also where did you acquire your cush hub from and what does it cost.
Cheers mate

I'm after a set of cup washers please!

Also, was there a fabrication drawing of the washers floating around?

Hey guys. Recently purchased a TE 610, my friend has a TE 630. Loving the bikes, but I think we should do the upgraded washer fix at some point in the near future. I've sent Bertie an email. for finding this thread :)

Revisiting this thread.
What is the current source of rivets?
Husqvarna Austratlia has none.

Mine aren't worn out, but the clutch basket itself is (notched fingers, despite having a Cush drive) so I need some rivets.
