Currently have a Tiger 800XC and I really would prefer something much more off road oriented.
The local BMW dealership has a 2014 TE310R in stock for $6500 out the door. Ive researched the best I can short of calling ZypTy racing or that Halls dealership to ask them about the bikes.
I seem to have gathered that the 2014 has different color wheels and graphics than a 13, but nothing else.
What I am wondering is if they really are unrideable out of the box due to restriction.
I due plan to use this as my main bike for 3 months or so. Short commute to work at no more than 50mph.
I have wanted to have a real dirtbike for a while but had to be realistic with a commuter bike.
Big things I'd like to know.. did these usually ship with a power up kit in the crate? The dealership made it seem like they didnt have one. Is there any online vendor that sells it? I've had no luck finding one.
I would have no problem doing all of the work on it and would actually prefer to due so. I want to get a look at those finger follower valves.
Thanks for any input on this bike
