Hi all, I've just had Race map 3 put in my 2013 TE511 from a shop in Victoria (Australia).
I took the bike for a ride today and didn't really notice much difference. Still had a stalling problem hopping over logs, and not sure I can say its running any stronger.
I did notice that sitting at between 80-100Kph the bike seems to surge a little, it also seem to have a little bit of a crack through the exhaust, I guess a little bit of a back fire/pop on over run.
Although both of these things might have been present before and I'm just paying more attention now????
Bike is really stock, with only the Race Map 2 jumper in place and Akrapovic muffler and about 1300K's done.
Is there anyway for me to check exactly what Map set is on the bike? And should I be worried about the surging, maybe lean or rich at this time?
I also have another problem where sometime when getting on the throttle the bike doesn't respond, after rolling off the throttle and back on everything is fine again. I was hoping the ECU reflash was going to fix this, but it hasn't..
