I recently got a 2012 TE-310 after upgrading from my DR-350s. I ran it on the street doing low revs for 70 miles before doing an oil change for break in. The bike feels nice, and I was surprised by its high in stock form, as I am pretty tall and was on my tipy toes. after running it a little after the 1st service I finally decided to take it off road, at Gorman OHV. Conditions were sandy but the weather was nice considering it was 90+ in the surrounding area. I unloaded the bike, made a slight idle adjustment and went off. After the first ride I felt very comfortable and I was really impressed with how good it it performed off-road. I got into some nasty stuff, and even though I wasn't pushing due to the conditions and I didnt wanna over rev the engine still early in its life span, the bike was able to pull me out of trouble. So far the only 2 handling fixes I need to make is a wobble going down hill in the front and at speed the rear wobbles. It never felt super uncomfortable but it was defiantly enough to make you feel a little nervous. So far all I have done is drop the forks down in the clamps, lowered the rear shocks, and softend compression and rebound in the rear. Im excited to see how the bike will work with better conditions, more power, and fine tuning the forks, but overall the bike ran great.
