/Rant on/ I would pay somebody $300 for a front fender that would actually work on wet streets. The rain had passed through so I rode my SM630 to work - big mistake! The shorty high mounted front fender let the front tire pick up all the dirty water on the road and toss it into the air only to land on my helmet and chest which then ran down into my crotch. I guess my only alternative is to wear full rain gear for wet streets on my 15 minute commute to work. I guess I should have thought about the fender location before I bought the bike to use mainly for commuting to work. /Rant off/
I guess waterproof jacket and pants are the only solution? Just sucks to wear them when it is not raining.
