Lets just get this out in the open first....I'm not worthy ! Scenario..... 04 TC450 that needs rear wheel bearings replaced. Aquire parts, disassembled rear wheel, removed old bearings (here is the big oops), did not notate which bearings went in what position (did'nt realize there were 3). No big deal, use common sense....right? .........the 2 identical bearings would go on the outside and the bigger, beefier bearing on the inside (between the 2) WRONG ! .....After thinking it over, its apparent now the the bigger bearing would go on the right side (side with the snap ring) since that is where the brake caliper etc is and would need more support. Here is the question.....Is that correct ? Thanks for the help

Now that I have the new wheel bearings installed, in the right sequence, with the spacer etc... Now after looking at the drawing of the rear wheel assy, it shows the axle inserted in the braking side of the swingarm. I have always removed the axle from the chain side of the swingarm. My question is, which way is correct ? Or does it matter.
