• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Post up pictures of your vintage Husqvarna bikes!

Mine... Until the day I die, and then maybe I'll get myself buried with it..:D

1973 Husqvarna RT 250 and 360

The RT in the back is a 360 model it is all orginal right down to its Telleborg tires. It is a blast to ride around the neighborhood, as you can see Husky has made dual purpose bike for some time. The RT in the front is a 250 model I set that one up to be an enduro. Both bike are great fun!

It's a Circle F pipe and am not sure if the silencer is from them too?

Not sure on the 500 yet. It won't be cheap.

Gone but not forgotten

My '82.5 five-hunny.

Guy I sold it to says I can buy it back any time since it just sits in his office. Man, it sure gets a lot of attention!

Wicked hole shot machine, couldn't break the 4-speed but man alive it vibrated!

A general statement....regarding the attached pics

When you click on the thumbnail (little pic) then it opens a picture with Cafe Husky darkened in the background - click on that pic while it is opened and it will open up a new window. In that new window click on the pic again and it will become full size and much clearer, if that is of interest to you.

Truly awesome pictures everyone :applause:
