  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Trying to acclimate my son to a clutch & a 2T. It's a mini version of my bike. He's not ready to take it up into the woods yet, I hope to take him back to Rock Candy this weekend & get him on a couple of easy trails. He's doing well on his XR70, but it's such a pig. I already have the XR sold when he's done with it. I'll tear the KX apart later this year & freshen the suspension & brakes.

whats wrong with dis pitcher....:-( never thought i'd see the day this thing gathered dust.
and every night after closing...tool boxes gets knocked over...air hose gets roosted up into knots...knobby marks on the walls in the shop...glad he aint got thumbs....

me thinks the Porkinator needs to go fer a romp...... baroooop!

NEVER selling this one...EVER! hehehehe..

look close, see him in there peeking out? I kicked everyone's ride out of the shop cept for the basket case KX we got in yesterday (10 baskets to be exact, frame up deal)...he's on the stand now getting prepped, pampered and taking up as much room as he wants. hey- i'm the boss....I can do that...hehehe

basket case '89 KX 125....bare frame and 10 baskets came in yesterday....loooong way to go. just did a quick trail fit of stuff to see whats what...(phase 1) has spark, compression, cleaned the carb (clogged), fresh oiled filter on the bench. gona put a boot to it in a few days...mreep mreeep mreeeeeep! my UPS man got it for nothing. gona be his kids xmas present. imagine getting a fresh OG KX 125 under the tree? works for me! 004.JPG
