• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics of your 610!

Wow... that is some serious air flowage. Was there a noticeable boost after opening it up like that ?
My little pin holes seem insignificant by comparison.

Seat of the pants there is a noticeable difference. I'm going to have to adjust with tuner but for now it feels and sounds great. I ride with MX boots everytime and felt that they were covering too much of the stock design.

Just did my Air box today!!!

I really wish there was an aftermarket airbox for the 610 - closer to the 630 that moved the intakes up out the way. Having been on a 700km weekend trip with a number of water crossings (that were not even at their fullest) I would really like that peace of mind! Any suggestions other than duct (duck?) tape? A real design weakness for a bike like this IMHO.

I don't ride through water crossings but I too wish there was a different design. Or at least a good seal on the air box. I just plan on frequently cleaning the filter but, that doesn't solve any water dilemmas...

Beautiful bike, Spencer! I really like the gray ones...they're special!

I just got back from a week in Nevada and Oregon on my `07 SM610. Here she is in her dirty clothes :D I'm using Eric's stock `06
TE610 tank because my IMS 5gal developed a leak while on the trailer on the way out there...

Hello there!
Here comes a few photos of my TE610 which is running on 17``supermotardwheels. The engine is modified with bigbore-kit and a racecam and ported cyl.head. About 70 hp after modification is nice! Best wishes from Sweden, you guys in US seem to have nicer terrain to ride in than in Europe!Egen 610 6.jpg

Sweet ! 70 HP? Wow !! So, does the big bore kit make it an actual 610 ? I see you've got the LV as well. Very very nice. Post a vid if you've got any.

ele984, do you think there'd be a way to get that kit in the U.S.? Like, it isn't some one off thing that you bought or had custom made by a machine shop, but it's actually from an aftermarket manufacturer? And it was dynode at 70 hp? My bike is probably on the high side of 50, and I've got all the aftermarket upgrades done available here.

And here's my 09 SM(sorry for the cellphone pictures):
