Hello all.
I am new to this forum and thought I would share some photos of my 1994 Husky TC610.
Got some more pics which I might post later on.

Wow! Beautiful machine, Mattias!

Yes, please do post up some more photos!
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

I broke off one of the damn pinch bolts even though I wasn't torquing it much, so I kept today's ride short. Only about 80 miles. The bolts are a bit unique, so I'll have to order them. They seem really weak, so I'm going to order a spare set. Hopefully I can drill it out ok. I'm going enlist the help of a friend that has more tools and equipment than most pro shops. He's good at this kinda stuff.
it's a 150/70-17
Honestly, mnb...can you not tell the difference between a 150 and a 180 by looking at a photograph?![]()
Nice bike! Is that a trail tech head light? I'm looking to upgrade the lamps in mine.
Did you have to beef up the voltage to run HID? I have TrailTech X2 Halogen and it's not quite bright enough for night riding.Yeah Trailtech X2 HID. Works a treat.

Thx. Is the HID to potent for the road?

A fellow 610 owner here in Colorado hooked me up. He did it as his shop when he had some downtime. It's still holding up pretty well, but is wearing a bit from contact.did you have the exhaust guard powdercoated or is it a DIY job? certainly looks alot better than stock.
Toddler was there, he's on the far right in the pic. I believe you know him at least through this board. We did Black Bear, lunch in Telluride, Imogene, Yankee Boy Basin on Saturday. Sunday we did Corkscrew, Hurricane, California, a side trip to Placer Gulch, Cinnamon Pass into Lake City and back to Ouray via Engineer. I gotta say, it was a weekend full of incredible scenery and a great bunch of guys to ride along and share in the magnificence that is the San Juans.Oooh! Neat-o! I want to go there so bad...maybe next summer or late spring![]()

Absolutely!I know Toddler! Unpronounceable ToddThat guy's a character. We rode with him in Utah 7 years ago. Cool dude! I'd love to ride with him again. We're thinking about doing a 3-week ride next summer to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we want to include Colorado. Maybe y'all can share some local knowledge and ride with us on a few rides?
One more for good measure -- summoning the courage to descend Black Bear Pass:
