Is the kit done as a core-exchange deal, or do you send a cylinder and get the same one back in 165 guise?
Either way. you wait longer if you want yours back.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

What is the cost of the 165 kit, if you supply a cylinder??
i would like to know that too, and is the fmf 200sx a must if you like torque or is a trip to the HGS factory out here a good option too??Call Hall's Cycle, Mine came already installed.
Is There any body that weighs 200 plus pounds riding these tiddlers? Bought a 2012 cr 125 for my wife but like the way the bike feels so much I'm considering another for me.Kit is $680, modified 200 pipe is $275. Complete with all gaskets and everything you need to bolt it back on like stock.
What happens...
1. you send you cylinder, head and powervalves in as exchange. If you want yours back it will be 3-4 weeks. If we have spares done it is about a week.
2. The cylinder gets a bridge welded up to make it stronger and then gets bored, chamfered and plated. Lots of work.
3. the cylinder head gets bored to diameter, squishband rebuilt and surfaced
4. The powervalves get cut to match your cylinder better than the stock stuff ever did.
5. All gets sent back including new gaskets and whatever else is required to bolt it back on.
As for the pipe it starts out as an FMF for a KTM 200 and the head pipe gets modded to fit the husky as well as the back bracket.
This makes for one fantastic package, reliable and powerful. My favorite woods motor hands down.
thanks.

My riding weight is ~245#'s and it pulls me up anything from 0-10,000' of elevation. I have had a 300# on mine and was amazed how well it ran with him on it.Is There any body that weighs 200 plus pounds riding these tiddlers?
