• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

NW Fall Gathering?

This sounds cool.
Always a good time at East Fort Rock and some kind of adventure always happens! Especially if Kevin and Jon show up.

I'll bring my real Swedish-made Huskys just so you guys can see the real thing.
I'm thinking a '86 430 Automatic and a '88 430 WR. Or maybe the Up-Tite Racing 87 250 XC I'm restoring, if I get it done in time.

Now we're talking. Getting serious, with the choices of bikes to bring.
Might be able to have the TC570 ready with an FCR conversion by then.
Throw it in the truck, and hit some trails.
Big fires, tall tales, some Fireball and throttle twistin!
Let's see some input on who's coming. Start spreading the word people.

Do I need to know someone, or just show up?

No guarantees at this point, but it could happen.... Probably bring my '86 if I do.

Are you guys going to bring any 2016 / 2017 Huskys to test ride?
It's always a bonus when Bill and gang bring us the new toys!

I will be there with more jack asses TB 11/3-11/6 always great times bring fireball Bryon
Yea, I see a problem here, Bryon, Brian how ever he spells his name is always loosing the cap too the bottle and we all know what happens after that! Signed, a concerned citizen

I'm running the TB100 this year! last year the left knee wasn't up to it. Tom Bean is feeling great lately been riding more and who ever is in we will run it saturday. I will plan a awesome 2 loop = 100 mi. ride. Warning there will be jackasses on the ride lol . Lets have fun ****************************************

I accept that challenge. And the consequences of the repercussions. I just might have to leave my boom box in the truck this year and not have to use it for a wake up call if Tom is on board!
