• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

number decals that match stock ?

DTX915

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Going racing this year and Huskys program says that I have to keep stock decals on the bike. I am fine with that. Now before I go and spend some money,do any of you know of any company that has a number background that matches the stock wr125 pattern on a 2013.

Be nice if i would blend in on the same lines that come off the shrouds and go down the side panels. I like the t9 that decal works has and if i cannot find another will go with that.
Thanks

I have to use stock graphics per Huskys contingency program. Like i said in my first post.Just want the number panels to flow from the stock shrouds to the side number panel. Didnt know if anyone has had someone make them yet.

I am saying, keep the stock graphics, and just put stick-on race numbers in the big empty white spaces on the number panels. That's what they're for, right?

Honestly, I think they are mostly referring to the tank shrouds with Husqvarna logo and design, but you could check with Jenna that administers the program if you want to be positive. I ran blue number plates last year while on the contingency program. I've never seen any pre-designed templates that mimic the stock style.

I just buy the proper colored "background" kits, the ones with 3 rectangular sheets inside for about $20. Trim them out to look like they belong on top of the side number plates and my headlight. Then buy the proper colored numbers and stick them on top.. As a bonus it keeps the plastic looking better also...

for my son who raced 2 different series, I have the bike done the way above for one series then for the other I just place numbers on colored paper, trim them up, use clear tape front and back and tape them to the side panels and number plate on top of the other numbers. Then I can take off and replace as needed only because he needs different colors for each series

Yay i was just checking as someone else may have done it. May ride out next week and get a local decal company to set one up. I know its only three little red lines but i woud like them on the number background.
Cannot ride fast so i gotta look good doing it !

Ok so I just got this little project finished up this week. I didn't think this was all that hard. The first set was the wrong size and fit so Steve at STS offered to remake them with a new template.
About two weeks ago I got a phone call that the new templates are in and side decals will be at the track for me next race. I get to the track and get the bad news that the new templates don't fit. The he asks to take my side panels with him to size them. As I was good with that off they went after the mud race.
STS now has a proper fitting template for the 2013 wr/cr 125 on hand with the little red lines to match the stock shrouds.124_0707.JPG
