so my 08 cr 125 shows up and I'm going to take the approach that it has had minimal dealer prep. There is fluid in the rad. Doesn't appear to be anything in the tranny so I'll add that. I'll check the more obvious nuts and bolts the air filter appears to be oiled but I don't know how old that is so I'll clean and re oil. Guess I could call the dealer and ask?? hit the grease nipples in the linkage. the bike got here before all the paper work. What is the torque spec on the triple clamp bolts?? I don't really plan to do the rip it apart and rebuild it approach. but would like to give it a pretty good look over. at first glance things look pretty good. It has an ohlins rear shock, I thought it was suppose to have a sachs?? this bike has the same suspension as my 06 gasser!! 45 zokes up front and onlins in the back.
and whats the deal with break in oil ratio?? I've read some run 24:1 for a tank. Is this the norm or is 32:1 to start out with fine?? And what about breaking in with full synth? isn't that suppose to be some kind of no no??
