• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

MotoPED

do as i did an buy an old set of forks from a old bike, marzocchi shivers are going for £100-200 that uses 20mm solid bolt plenty of strength for these drop offs, i love this the more i look at it.

For you guys who like that type machinery ... you gotta feel like your ship has come in I bet ...

Looks like my old home - Santa Cruz.
I like the idea. If you sat down and tried to figure out how to add pedals and big wheels to a mini it would take a while - these guys did it. If you then tried to build the frame, swing arm, and rear hub necessary it would cost a bit. The price is twice as much as it needs to be to market the thing. And they need to source some cheap Chinese suspension to go with it to keep the price down. But it's 2 wheeled and it's cool.

I'm seriously thinking/planning on buying one of the OSET electric trials bikes for quick trips to the gym and playing on. The operative word in all of this is 'play'.http://www.osetbikes.com/us/oset-bikes-en-US/oset-20-0-48v/

Those trips you are talking about is how the emerging markets guys use their small bikes .. For what ever reason, the states missed that boat...

oset arnt made for real boys, theyre aged for kids market if your thinking of e bikes look up zero fx these are more refined an made in us of a calafornia i think
