• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Magnificent 7

I know my shop after winter needs a damn good cleaning!

Oh no, we leave early tomorrow am.

I have more lights that mount on the sides when I paint like a car etc....
Definately agree it needs more insulation.

I might hit Phillip up and bring back a complete set of 82 plastics.

Like to send them to Ride Pg for full set of graphics:

Front fender tip

Front fender arch

Side panels/ numbers, I have the original Cr 250 decal but want to see if they can reproduce in black, red and silver scheme.

Rear fender

Swing arm

Front plate

Then they would have templates if you guys want some done for yours.

Had good relaxing time on vacation till?

I cut across Colorado!

I looked over at Mrs and said, What the heck is that? Hmmm? No lightning tho!

Well I soon found out!

So the winds picked up to around 71 Mph!

Then slammed on the brakes because Tumble Weeds were blocking the road.

They were taller than my truck in spots.

Well, I just rammed through them but later ended up pulling them out of my wheel wells, out from under the truck and some where wrapped around my drive shaft!

So, I ended up driving in this for 3 hours. BTW it was sunny out before this hit! I went from not being able to tell if your on road, to 25 mph, to 35 mph, to slamming on brakes.

I told Mrs that my Gas mileage was dropping bad and that my air filter had to be getting plugged!

I always keep my engine compartment washed and Armour All'd.

This is the dirt I dumped out of my air box and air filter, till i could find auto parts store to put a new one in.

This is my grill after getting hit for 3 hours of Tumble Weeds.

They were woven in there all way to radiator.

Even had one hit my windshield just right and broke it!

This is my truck bed on inside under bed tarp.

So it gives you an idea of how much dust!
