As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I'm going to run it for a while yet and have chain and sprockets front and back to install. I'll get a pic when I do the work. I talked to the Husky dealer here in Tucson and they will install the output shaft and new cam chain, etc., for 6 to 7 hours if I take the engine out and take it to them. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Maybe I should just go ahead and get it done now rather than wear the shaft splines out all the way. They also recommended installing new rings since the jug will be off. Miles on the bike are not high and I wonder if that's a good idea. Everything is nicely worn in nowHate to hear it Ken. I got 7500km out of the kush.
No wear on the teeth,rubbers had expired.
Kush have a lifetime guarantee on all sprockets until their teeth are worn out.
Ryan at kush refunded my money in full.I had told him not to worry or a pro rata refund would do.The sprocket was from a faulty batch.He asked if i would like to test another.True to his word another sprocket turned up.

I suspect it was one of our earlier models with too much black pigment, it seemed to act as a plasticizer, though I wasn't aware till now it was that bad
It should just be a matter of changing the amount of black colouring as it acts as a plasticiser. The next batch we will use none at all just to be sure. I've had reports back of sprockets going well right up to the teeth being worn
I see the latest have the light colored cushioning material and my second generation has the dark colored stuff that failed on yours. :-(.My worn sprocket was a 2nd generation.After talking to Ryan he thinks it may have been from a earlier batch.He is what Ryan said

A lot of people think 7000km is a serviceable amount to be worn out.I guess Ryan could of ran with that but he did not.He stood behind his product and is continuing to refine it.He is great to deal with and resolve issues.I wish him all the best and will continue to use his sprockets.

Well that is encouraging. I thought that by waiting a year or so for the second generation would get me one that will hold up but my cushions look the same as yours and I'm begining to see a small air gap.Had this waiting on me this morning, if nothing else, the CS is good.
