I just finished my ITC's and they came out very well. As everyone seems to agree, the rebound stack needs to be a bit firmer. A lot firmer if you are going up in spring rate. Mine had the same stack as posted above:
Rebound:
32mm x .2mm valve plate
27mm x .25mm
24mm x .25mm
21mm x .25mm
18mm x .3mm
14mm x .3mm
14mm x .3mm
14mm x .3mm
17mm "ITC" spacer
You see that 17mm O.D. spacer UNDER that stack of 14's??? It's for the ITC bottoming piston and, being larger than 14, allows NONE of those 14's to flex. They are solid as a rock. It doesn't matter how many are stacked up there, as the entire stack above it is bending over these (inflexible) 14's. However, rather than making the stack stiffer, it actually makes it softer: It provides a fairly small (soft) pivot for the 18-and-above to flex over. So, to stiffen the stack, I removed them. Now, the 18 and above are bending over the 17mm spacer rather than the stock 14mm "spacer":
Trial 1 Rebound:
32mm x .2mm valve plate
27mm x .25mm
24mm x .25mm
21mm x .25mm
18mm x .3mm
17mm spacer
That is a substantially stiffer stack without making any other changes. I'd recommend that as a good starting point. Please, somebody else try this stack and let me know what you think.
