I have a spanking brand new TC125 sitting in the shop. It is beautiful and I can't wait to get it dirty. I also have a box with a very nice factory 150(144cc) kit. Over the next couple of months I will be doing quite a bit of fun kind of setups for this bike that might be of value to anyone else looking at this bike.
A list of the changes I will be trying and documenting:
Dyno results 125 vs 144 vs ported 144
Lectron installation with accompanying dyno comparisons
Possible 155 big bore kit but only if Husky is going to offer a stock 144cc equipped model
I won't be doing much from a suspension point of view simply because I am not qualified to make recommendations there. I will simply be installing the correct springs for my fat ass and working with the stock clickers.
I am sure I will also at some point be installing an auto clutch and left hand rear brake but that will be down the road a bit. But I am looking forward to seeing how a complete Rekluse setup works with this new motor/frame/suspension.
Huge shout out to Bill's Motorcycles Plus for getting me setup with this fine scoot. Bill and the guys are just the best. Also want to thank Norman Foley for stoking the fire in an old guy to try something new.
Stay tuned for pics and more blather.
